FAREWELL BONETA

The award winning restaurant in Gastown by Mark Brand and Neil Ingram will be closing it's doors December 23, 2013.  The restuarant first opened in 2007 at 1 W. Cordova and will close at it's current location in the Garage loft building.  In an article from Scout Magazine Brand says they looked at where the dining scene was going and decided to get out on top.  While Ingram jokingly says it's mid-life crisis time for him and he simply wants a change.  

I've been to Boneta quite a few times and have always had a great time so it's kind of sad to see it go but Brand still has quite a few dining rooms for you try.  Who knows, maybe one day we'll see these two team up again and Boneta will be reborn.  For the full story from Scout Magazine...
