I get this question a lot; should I have a parking stall for better resale value down the road? For more expensive properties I believe it becomes a little more important but not always. It really depends on the property as I explain the video. Just to touch quickly on lofts. Most heritage lofts do not come with parking unless they are the larger properties in the building. So if you have less than 1000sf then the likelyhood of getting a parking stall is pretty slim.
The reason for this, it varies from building to building, is developers keep the original facade so they can't get in to really dig deeper so the basements of the buildngs become the parking garage. Small basement = less stalls.
