FAREWELL BONETA

Your last chance to wine and dine in Boneta is fast approaching.  The award winning restaurant in Gastown by Mark Brand and Neil Ingram will be closing it's doors December 23, 2013.  The restaurant first opened in 2007 at 1 W. Cordova and will close at it's current location in the Garage loft building.  Business has been good for Boneta, so why are they closing?

The housing market is continuing on a steady course:  On average sales have increased 38% for all types of properties when compared to this time last year.   In the last 12 months we've approximately seen a 1% increase in prices based on a benchmark property.  Benchmarks represent a typical property in the market.

Should you put your moving plans on hold over the holidays?  I don't think you should.  However, most people will.  Whether you're looking to buy or sell a property you'll have less competition.  Buyers that are looking at properties in December are very serious.  They may have time off work so it's a great time to get out there with their spouses and families.  Most properties look great over the holidays, they are warm and inviting.  I know everyone's schedule fills up quickly but with the help of a realtor the buying and selling process can be streamlined so you can keep your plans and enjoy the holiday season.
