Love to Veg Out?
Who doesn't love to veg out sometimes? I certainly do but that's not quite what I'm talking about here. A friend of mine has embarked on her first ever Expo on Vegan and Vegetarian Diets. Whether you're Vegan or Vegetarian or not this will be a great place to learn a little more and get an understanding of why so many people believe in these types of diets. The main topic of discussion will be on GMOs. Eat your vegetables! Sunday, June 8th from 10am - 5pm.
So, how's the market?
I'll keep this one short and sweet and quote a few words from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver's President; "Our MLS® statistics tell us that there’s more home buyer demand today than at any point over the last three years,” Ray Harris, REBGV president said. “With sales surpassing the 3,000 mark in May and our sales-to-active-listing ratio exceeding 20 per cent, this is the most active marketplace we’ve seen since the spring of 2011.”
This year the market has been very consistent and we are seeing modest increases in home prices. Basically, the number of listings are slightly down compared to last year but the number of sales are up which is giving us the balanced market (seller's market in a lot of places/ neighbourhoods/ price points) we have.
