MARKET UPDATE FOR AUGUST 2014

If you're looking for something to do this month I think this should be on your list!  I've just received an email from a client of mine letting me know about this event as she'll be showing off her work.   I'm sure you'll be able to find countless gems whether for yourself or for gifts.  It takes place September 27th & 28th from 11am - 5pm.


HOW WAS THE MARKET IN AUGUST OF 2014?

The market is continuing on very well.  Not too much to report which, is a good thing.  

 

How did August perform: there were 300 more sales in August 2014 when compared to August 2013.  The amount of listings have declined when compared to this time last year.  The number of sales however, are up!  This is what is creating a balanced market.

 

Prices: since January of 2013 prices have increased 7%.  This is based on Greater Vancouver.  Certain neighbourhoods and property types may have increased more or less.  If you're curious about the value of your property(s) I'm happy to provide an evaluation with no obligation.
